Apart from resuming flights to a few destinations in the UAE, the Chennai state government has also waived off seven days of institutional quarantine for international travellers with a valid COVID-19 negative test certificate. These passengers will need to take another test upon arrival and will need to stay in a hotel or a government facility only till the test results are out. Thereafter, passengers can plan their trip based on the test result.
