India, May 1 -- European countries hit by the Coronavirus pandemic are recovering slowly. Many are already working to revitalise the tourism industry, one of the worst-affected by the lockdowns and other restrictions. The latest initiative to help rebuild tourists' confidence about their safety has been launched by the tourism authority of Portugal. By Manya Saini

Turismo de Portugal has launched a 'Clean & Safe' stamp to certify tourist hotspots and hospitality businesses that are complying with the health and hygiene guidelines. The move is aimed at helping the recovery of the tourism industry by helping build back confidence of tourists.
