Bengaluru, June 7 -- India's renewable energy sector is rapidly expanding, with an estimated potential of 2,109.655 GW as of March 2024, led by wind (1,163.8 GW) and solar (748.99 GW). The country's installed renewable capacity reached 220 GW in 2025, including 106 GW solar and 50 GW wind, supporting India's target of 500 GW non-fossil capacity by 2030.
