India, Aug. 8 -- Srinagar: One year has passed since the Centre declared Jammu & Kashmir a Union Territory, but it has been 12 months without any business, and the private sector and tourism are in a shambles.

5August this year was no different from the previous year. Strict lockdown of 48 hours with announcement of curfew in Srinagar kept people indoors.
