Washington, July 4 -- After hectic parleys, the House of Representatives has passed President Donald Trump's multi-trillion-dollar tax and spending bill, clearing the final hurdle just in time for the July Fourth deadline.

The White House confirmed that the US President was set to sign his sweeping domestic policy bill on Friday evening as he celebrates the Fourth of July, the country's Independence Day.

The bill "will be at the president's desk for signature at a big, beautiful signing tomorrow at 5 pm on the Fourth of July, just as the president always said and hoped it would be," Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a call with reporters.
