Moscow, Nov. 19 -- Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine overnight, firing more than 475 drones and 48 missiles across multiple regions. At least 10 people were killed, and dozens more were injured.
The strikes have cast doubt on the efforts of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to restart peace talks during his visit to Turkey.
In Ternopil, two multi-storey apartment blocks were hit by missiles, causing severe damage. Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga confirmed that residential buildings, not military targets, were struck. Photos from the scene showed fires burning through damaged buildings and debris scattered across the streets.
