India, Aug. 19 -- Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Coolie' has shattered records at the North American box office. The 75-year-old has once again proved why he is called Thalaivar (boss). His latest film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has become the biggest Tamil opening weekend grosser worldwide, beating Rajini's own blockbuster 2.0 from 2018, which previously held the top spot. The numbers so far show it's performing exceptionally well in North America, even overshadowing the run of the Hollywood horror film 'Weapons'.
