New York, March 22 -- Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP) - USA paid tribute to departed leader, Shri Manohar Parrikar. Shri Parrikar has been fighting pancreatic cancer for the last year and he breathed his last on Sunday, March 17, 2019. OFBJP members reminisced their interactions with him during his visits to the US on earlier occasions. A graduate of IIT-Mumbai, Manohar ji had immersed in the service of people and the nation. He served as a member of Goa state legislative assembly and elected as a member of parliament. He was a four-time Chief Minister of Goa State and served as the Defence Minister of India in Modi cabinet. A man with principles he led a very simple life throughout.
