Queens, Jan. 21 -- Democrat District Leader Neeta Jain has released "Community First", her first ad of the campaign backed by a four-figure buy on Bengali and Indian TV. She is running to fill the vacancy in the 24th Council District left by Rory Lancman. The Special Election will be held on February 2.

The ad highlights COVID-19's devastating impact on the district from health to jobs and businesses. "We need strong leaders to help guide a fair recovery. Dr. Neeta Jain is a psychologist who dedicated her life to supporting children in our schools, advocated nonviolence to keep our streets safe, and fighting for better mental healthcare," says the narrator.
