New York, Feb. 13 -- Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty has been discharged after he was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata last week when he complained of severe chest pain. He was discharged this week and said he was "absolutely fine" and would resume shooting for his upcoming films.

The 73-year-old was admitted to a private hospital on February 10 after he complained of severe chest pain. The actor was also quoted saying, "There is actually no problem, I am absolutely fine. I have to keep control of my food habits. Let's see; I may start working soon, maybe tomorrow."
