London, July 24 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Indian security agencies will continue to strengthen cooperation with foreign counterparts on issues related to the extradition of economic offenders. "Our security agencies will continue to enhance cooperation and coordination on matters such as the extradition of economic offenders," he said during his visit to the United Kingdom.

The statement comes at a time when Indian authorities are pressing for the return of several high-profile individuals facing charges ranging from financial fraud to money laundering.
