New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- The US government shutdown may affect the pace of trade talks with India, hinted Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, as he noted that one has to see "when the discussions take place". "As you all know, the US government is currently in shutdown mode. So, keeping that in mind, we'll have to see how, where, and when the discussions can take place," news agency PTI quoted Goyal as telling reporters in Doha this week.
The minister added that India and the US remain regularly in touch at multiple levels and that New Delhi will share information on the next steps on the India-US trade talks very soon.
