New Delhi, April 24 -- Bodies of tourists who died in the Pahalgam attacks are being brought to their respective cities in India, with top leaders and chief ministers arriving at the locations to console the family members.
In the attack that primarily targeted Hindus, male members of families were shot dead in front of their families by The Resistance Front, an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba. At least 26 tourists were killed in Kashmir's Pahalgam on Tuesday after the terrorists confirmed their religious identities.
