London, July 25 -- Terming the signing of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and the UK as "historic", Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the pact is not just an economic partnership but also a blueprint for shared prosperity.
Making a press statement alongside his UK counterpart Keir Starmer, PM Modi said, "Today is a historic day in our relations. I am happy that after many years of hard work, the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement has been concluded between the two countries. This Agreement does not merely pave the way for economic partnership but is also a blueprint for our shared prosperity."
