LUDHIANA, Nov. 4 -- WORK on Rail over bridge (ROB) and two Rail under bridges (RUBs) started today. The work was inaugurated by Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu in the presence of Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu, MC Councillors and MC Commissioner Kanwal Preet Kaur Brar.
The construction of a Rail Over Bridge (ROB) and two Rail Under Bridges (RUBs) on Pakhowal Road has been a long pending demand of the city residents. This joint project is worth around Rs 120 crore and would provide muchneeded respite from traffic congestion to the city residents.
