LUCKNOW, June 21 -- TAKING serious note of the state of affairs in the jails, Uttar Pradesh government on Friday dismissed two officers from the service of the jails department with immediate effect.
Former jailor of Baghpat prison Uday Pratap Singh was sacked for laxity in his duty in which a dreaded sharpshooter Prem Prakash alias Munna Bajrangi was shot dead by another criminal Sunil Rathi inside the jail on July 9, 2018.
