JIND, Feb. 10 -- A motor spare parts shop on Bhiwani Road in the city was burgled on Sunday night after the thieves broke open the lock and demolished the wall of the shop and took away goods worth lakhs of rupees from the shop.
The police later arrested three persons and recovered the stolen goods from them.
The shopkeepers led by District President of Haryana Pradesh Vyapar Mandal Mahavir Computer and business leader Ishwar Bansal, condemned the incident and the entire market closed down in protest.
City Police Station O f f i c e r - i n - c h a r g e Surendra Kumar later reached the spot and tried to persuade the agitated shopkeepers to open the market by assuring action in the matter soon, but the shopkeepers did not agree.
