JIND, Nov. 4 -- EMPLOYEES of the closed Drug De-Addiction Centre run by the Red Cross Society, on Monday, launched indefinite dharna in front of the office of the District Red Cross Society in protest against the closure of the deaddiction centre.

They raised slogans against the administration and said that the excuse made to close the centre was a white lie. The dharna was led by Satyavan Ikkas.

Ikkas said that the decision to close the de-addiction centre is Talibani. The centre has been closed citing the budget, while the reality is that the Red Cross Society has an FD worth crores of rupees, besides other sources of income, including donations.
