CHANDIGARH, Jan. 13 -- A woman on Monday accused the Kurukshetra police of not taking action against the man who had allegedly raped her at Pehowa in Kurukshetra on December 28 last year.
The woman said that though an FIR was registered against the accused at Kurukshetra Police Station on Dec 29 last year there had been no forward movement in the case so far.
At a press conference held in Chandigarh, the victim alleged that the accused, Mahinder Singh met her at Chandigarh Railway Station platform no.1 along with a lady named Sonia, where he offered to help her in getting employment abroad as his children were settled there.
