LUCKNOW, Oct. 31 -- SATYA Prakash Shukla, alias Sajan Shukla, 45, who died in custody of Amethi police on Tuesday, was cremated at Prayagraj on Wednesday.The last rites were performed amid demand for an independent probe into Shukla's death by his family members.
However, deceased's family members, along with locals, staged a protest demanding action against police personnel.They had alleged that Amethi's Peeparpur police station team and its Special Operation Group had barged into their house at around 3 am on Tuesday forcibly without telling any reasons.
