LUDHIANA, March 1 -- PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a seminar on "Industrial Waste and Wastewater Management" with the objective to bring all stakeholders together at one platform to deliberate on the issues and challenges being faced for management, reusing and recycling of waste and wastewater management in the city.
Vikram Singh Mehta, Chairman, Water & Solid Waste Committee, PHD Chamber, said that Government of India (GoI), state governments and various institutions in the country, including the Planning Commission and the National Institute of Urban Affairs, have brought the requisite knowledge and advocacy to deal with this subject.
