INDIA, March 11 -- THE Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has inked a non-exclusive pact with Nuziveedu Seeds Limited, Medchal Mandal, district Ranga Reddy, Telangana for the commercialization of Punjab Nawab, a pumpkin variety.
Dr Navtej Singh Bains, Director of Research, PAU and Dr AS Shekhawat, General Manager, Breeding (Cole Crops), Nuziveedu Seeds Limited, signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on behalf of their respective organizations.
Dr Bains said the MoA between PAU and private sector seed companies is facilitating the dissemination of high yield.
Dr AS Dhatt, Additional Director of Research said this pumpkin variety is suitable for rainy season.
