MOGA, Nov. 2 -- WITH an aim to eradicate the plastic waste from the village, the panchayat of Ransih Kalan, about 30 kilometres from the district headquarters has been offering an equal quantity of free sugar to the villagers in exchange of the household plastic waste.
This is the brainchild of former Sarpanch Preet Inder Singh (29), whose mother is present Sarpanch of Ransih Kalan village, said that he wanted to make the village plastic-free.
