SOLAN, Nov. 4 -- TEAM of Vasant Valley School (New Delhi) attained the top position in poetry composition with its theme of love, beauty and heroism in the fourth edition of the literary festival competition concluded on the premises of The Lawrence School at Sanawar, on Monday.

Welham Girls' School (Dehradun) won the winner's trophy in English debate, with Jaiveer Singh of Sanawar and Tarika Mann of Welham Girls' being adjudged as best and second-best speakers respectively.

The endeavor of the festival was to create an opportunity for the youth of today to encourage them to read, understand and interact on the collective works of English prose and poetry.
