LUDHIANA, Nov. 2 -- A three-day international workshop on "Ethics in Research and Lab Safety" concluded at the School of Public Health and Zoonoses, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) here. The workshop was organised in collaboration with University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
GADVASU's Dean Post Graduate Studies Dr SK Uppal said that such workshop is very helpful for the post graduate students to learn "Lab safety and Research Ethics" which are integral parts of scientific research. Scientists from USAtold students about the significance of ethics in scientific research, how to decide giving credits to the scientists involved in a research project as well as the guidelines for animal research.
