MOGA, March 1 -- A three-member team from the National Green Tribunal (NGT) Monitoring Committee on Thursday directed all the civic bodies of the district to ensure implementation of the solid waste management rules and start the process for remediation of legacy waste site by March 31.
The team led by a senior member of the monitoring committee and former Chief Secretary SC Aggarwal held a review meeting regarding implementation of solid waste management rules with Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Hans and concerned officials from different departments.
