MANDI, Oct. 30 -- IRRIGATION and Public Health (IPH) Minister Mahendra Singh Thakur has said that the Himachal Government is making effort to provide water to irrigate every field and working to find solution to problems related to irrigation facilities.

Addressing a public meeting at Mata Mansa Chowk after dedicating several development works in the Dharampur Assembly constituency on Wednesday, the minister said more funds have been earmarked for horticulture development and harvesting water in the state during the current fiscal year.

He said the HP Shiva project has been launched in the state at a cost of Rs 1,688 crore under which schemes to develop horticulture clusters have been undertaken.
