Patiala, June 29 -- Dr. Damanjit Sandhu , Associate Professor, Department of Psychology of Punjabi University, has been selected on panel of experts by National Commission for Women.

She is one of the four panelist from all over the country which includes Dr. Debashish Basu from PGIMER, Dr. Rajesh Sagar from AIIMS and Dr. Shruti Kapila from Cambridge.

Expert panel will scrutinise and analyse various projects on Women Mental Health across the country and submit its report to Govt of India.

On this prestigious appointment Dr. B. S Ghuman Vice Chancellor Punjabi University, congratulated Dr. Sandhu and conveyed his blessings for achieving significant milestones in mental health research in India .
