CHANDIGARH, Nov. 2 -- THE Punjab Sports Department is organizing various activities in view of the 550th Prakash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev. As part of the calendar released by the department, a cycle rally would be organized by the department from Amritsar to Dera Baba Nanak on November 3 regarding which all preparations have been completed.
This was disclosed today in a statement by the Sports and Youth Services Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi.
The minister while divulging the details said that the rally would be received at Dera Baba Nanak by Cooperation and Jails Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and at Fatehgarh Churian by the Rural Development and Panchayats and Higher Education Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa.
