SHIMLA, Jan. 13 -- HIMACHAL Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the Public Works Department had been directed to clear the roads closed due to heavy snow in different parts of the state so that commuters did not face any inconvenience.
He said this during an interaction with the media here on Monday.
The Chief Minister said that all the deputy commissioners had also been asked to ensure that all essential services were restored in the areas affected due to heavy snowfall in the state.
Thakur said that the officers of Irrigation and Public Health Department had also been directed to ensure early restoration of water supply in the affected areas adding that the HPSEB had also been asked to take appropriate steps to ensure unint...
