Shimla, Aug. 13 -- Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while interacting with the beneficiaries of various schemes of Seraj Vidhan Sabha area through video conferencing said that the State Government has started several schemes for social economic upliftment of the poor and downtrodden of the State. He said that the endeavour of the State Government was to ensure that the benefits of policies and programmes of the State Government reaches the person living at the lowest ebb.

Jai Ram Thakur said that it was for the first time that the State Government has set a target of construction of 10,000 houses in the State under different housing schemes. He said that Chief Ministers Relief Fund has proved a boon for the poor people of the State.
