LUDHIANA, Dec. 5 -- THE Chrysanthemum Show, which concluded at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) yesterday, received a huge response from flower lovers, hobbyist and flower growers. The show was jointly organised by the Department of Floriculture and Landscaping and the Estate Organization, PAU.
A competition among 14 different classes of chrysanthemum was held during the show among different schools, colleges and other institutions. A total of 40 prizes comprising 13 first, 14 second and 12 third were given to the winners.
Dr Jaskaran Singh Mahal, Director of Extension Education, PAU, was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony.
