JIND, Feb. 10 -- CHILDREN aged one to 19 years and studying in government and private schools and Anganwadi centers in the district, were administered de-worming tablets, under the NDD programme on Sunday.

The NDD programme was launched from Government Senior Secondary School, Defence Colony, Jind. Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Ajay Chalia, District Immunization Officer Dr Navneet and Dr Pushpa Jaglan, DAHO of RKSK, administered albendazole pills to the children in this school. School Principal Raj Kumar and teacher Mohanlal Ahlawat were also present on the occasion.
