MANDI, Jan. 13 -- IRRIGATION and Public Health (IPH) minister Mahender Singh Thakur said fairs and festivals are symbol of mutual brotherhood and signify our traditional folk culture and help in preserving these from getting extinct.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating two day district level Lohri festival at Sajao Piplu on Monday he said it is very important our culture for future generations.
The Minister said Lohri festival also is a festival which denotes mutual love, gaiety and goodwill.
