India, Jan. 11 -- Social media platform X has accepted its mistake and assured the government that it will comply with Indian laws following a warning issued by the IT Ministry over the generation of obscene content through its AI tool Grok, government sources said on Sunday.
According to sources, around 3,500 pieces of content have been blocked and more than 600 accounts deleted in connection with the issue. X has conveyed that it will not allow obscene imagery on its platform in the future and will adhere strictly to Indian legal provisions.
