Jammu, May 22 -- The alarming rise in theft incidents across Jammu city has become a pressing concern, reflecting a serious lapse in the efficiency and preparedness of the Police Department. Despite the installation of CCTV cameras and multiple complaints from the public, thefts continue to occur unabated, casting serious doubts on the effectiveness of the policing system.
The recent theft at the Jogi Gate cremation ground is a glaring example of this disturbing trend. In a span of just 15 months, this site alone has witnessed thefts on three separate occasions.
