Sunderbani April 11, April 10 -- About 15-20 vehicles were challaned today by the traffic police in an operation laying a Naka at the Forest Check Post, Makol Mandir and found most of the vehicles either without documents or with serious deficiencies. However, the DTI leading the operation did not disclose the exact number of vehicles challaned.
"Most of these vehicles carry only one or two valid documents, with many flouting basic traffic norms," said sources.
According to sources, the stretch of road often choked with overloaded vehicles - particularly mini-buses - have long been under public and media scrutiny for rampant violations.
