Jammu, June 21 -- Top Army commanders on Saturday briefed Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on the prevailing security situation inJammu and Kashmirand the arrangements put in place for the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra, slated to commence on July 3.
Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command Lt Gen Pratik Sharma and other senior officers including commanding officers of all units attended the meeting at Udhampur-based northern command headquarters.
