Srinagar, June 5 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday raided multiple places in Kashmir in an alleged terror conspiracy case, officials said.

The raids targeted overground workers (OGWs) affiliated with various proscribed terrorist organisations.

"Searches are being conducted in RC- 05/2022/NIA/JMU. (terror conspiracy case) against OGWs of various terrorist organisations, " an official statement by NIA said.

Officials said the sleuths of the central agency, assisted by the teams of Jammu and Kashmir Police and paramilitary forces, raided several places based on the First Information Report (FIR) registered by the NIA in 2022.
