Jammu Tawi, March 4 -- In a move to curb corruption and fake entries through illegal means in Govt Jobs, the J&K administration today directed the Secretaries, Divisional Commissioners, DCs and head of departments to ensure no new entrant in the Govt Service is paid salary, allowances till verification by the CID.

The move comes after reports of several J&K Govt Employees including JKAS Officers appointed on fake documents.

In some cases in Kashmir, employees have not even appeared for the examination of the posts and have been directly appointed through illegal channels.
