India, Jan. 26 -- As per **Government Order No. 110-JK (GAD) of 2026**, the Jammu and Kashmir Government will confer **state awards on the occasion of Republic Day 2026**, honouring acts of exceptional bravery.



The **Bravery Award** has been conferred **posthumously on Adil Hussain Shah of Hapatnar, Pahalgam**, in recognition of his courage and sacrifice. The award carries a **cash prize of Rs 1 lakh along with a citation**.



Another bravery award has been granted to **Nikhil Kumar, PSI, Jammu**, who will receive a **cash prize of Rs 51,000 and a citation** for his exemplary service and gallant conduct.
