Srinagar, June 16 -- The Meteorological Department on Monday forecast isolated to scattered rain across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days.
According to the MeT, brief spells of rain and thundershowers, accompanied by gusty winds, are likely at isolated to scattered locations across the Union Territory until June 20.
A more active weather system is expected between June 21 and 23, with generally cloudy skies and intermittent rain and thundershowers likely in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
In the past 24 hours, the Jammu region witnessed fairly widespread light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and gusty winds. Jammu city recorded 46.0 mm of rainfall during this period.
