SRINAGAR, April 10 -- Fairly widespread light to moderate rain and thunderstorms continued across Jammu and Kashmir over the last 24 hours, and the wet spell is expected to persist until Friday, according to the Meteorological Department (MeT).
Improvement in weather conditions is likely from the morning of April 12, the department stated.
The highest rainfall was recorded in the ski resort of Gulmarg, with 5.4 mm of precipitation. Other significant rainfall readings include 5.3 mm in Kupwara, 4.2 mm in Pahalgam, and 2.8 mm in Srinagar, with rain reported across most parts of the Kashmir Valley overnight.
