India, Jan. 31 -- Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo today conducted surprise inspection of Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and took detailed appraisal of healthcare delivery and patient-centric services at the facility.
During the visit, the Health Minister undertook an extensive review of various healthcare facilities within the institution, including emergency wards, inpatient wards, diagnostic units and other critical departments. She assessed the availability of essential medicines, medical equipment, cleanliness staff attendance and overall patient care mechanisms.
