New Delhi, Dec. 18 -- More than 45,000 houses have been sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) and PMAY-U 2.0 in Jammu and Kashmir, the government of India informed the Lok Sabha on Thursday. It added that Ladakh has received approval for more than 1,400 houses under the scheme.
In a written reply to the Lok Sabha, the Ministry of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Tokhan Sahu said that out of 45, 112 sactioned houses, 34, 453 houses have been completed and occupied. While in Ladakh, 1,434 houses have been approved, and 934 houses stand completed and occupied.
