Jammu Tawi, Nov. 29 -- Reaffirming the government's commitment to eliminate social imbalances and disparities, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday said the regime led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a pledge to secure the future of Jammu Kashmir.
After laying the foundation stone for construction of new homes for families who were affected by recent natural calamities in Ramban and Udhampur, LG Sinha while addressing a gathering, as per the news agency-said, "189 completely damaged homes in Ramban and 341 in Udhampur will be constructed at a cost of Rs 18 crore and Rs 34 crore respectively."
