Srinagar, April 27 -- For the third consecutive night, Pakistan Army posts resorted to unprovoked small arms fire across the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir, Army sources said on Sunday.
The firing was reported from the Nowgam sector in Kupwara district and the Boniyar sector in Baramulla district, they said.
Army responded "effectively with appropriate small arms fire".
"On the night of 26th-27th April 2025, Pakistan Army posts initiated unprovoked small arms fire across the Line of Control in the areas opposite Tutmari Gali (Nowgam sector) and Rampur ( Boniyar Uri) Sectors. Our troops responded effectively with appropriate small arms fire," the Army sources said.
