India, Aug. 21 -- Opposition Vice-Presidential candidate Justice (Retd) B Sudershan Reddy today filed his nomination papers.

He filed the nomination in presence of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar, Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut and other INDIA Bloc leaders.

Meanwhile, Reddy in a statement expressed gratitude to the Opposition for nominating him as a joint candidate for the Vice President of India.
