India, Feb. 5 -- Lok Sabha proceedings on Wednesday were adjourned till 12 noon following vociferous protests by Opposition members over the suspension of eight MPs and related issues, highlighting escalating tensions in the Parliament during the Budget Session.



As soon as the House convened, Opposition members erupted into slogans and sought to raise various concerns, leading to a chaotic atmosphere. Speaker Om Birla urged members to maintain decorum, respect the proceedings, and allow the Question Hour to continue. Despite the Speaker permitting one question and its supplementaries during a brief five-minute Question Hour, the continuous din forced him to adjourn the House till noon.
