Jammu Tawi, March 25 -- The Jammu and Kashmir government clarified on Monday that it has no plans to provide a 'monthly sustenance' allowance of Rs 10,000 to licensed advocates for a period of five years.
In response to a question raised by legislator Hilal Akbar Lone, during the ongoing budget session of the J&K legislative assembly, Minister ln-charge Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs Department, as per the news agency, stated that no such proposal was currently under consideration.
"No such proposal is under consideration of the government," the response reads.
